SolPerForm 100, a crosspolymer derived from PVP and natural wheat protein, was introduced by Croda at the International Federation Societies of Cosmetic Chemists’ Congress in Barcelona, Oct. 6-9. The material optimizes the film-forming properties of sunscreen emulsions. According to Croda, SPF can be boosted by as much as 70%.
